I served a 1-year mandatory military service in the Turkish Armed Forces. I held the rank of Reserve Second Lieutenant or Reserve Non-Commissioned Officer in the Combat Engineering Corps. My duties included small-unit leadership, supervising tactical field fortifications, executing mobility and counter-mobility operations, and establishing defensive positions. Through this 1-year full-time active duty, I gained comprehensive experience in military discipline, command structure, battlefield engineering, and small-arms handling.
