I completed my national service in the French Navy, serving for ten months at sea aboard the replenishment tanker La Durance. During this period, I was involved in sea trials of the anti-aircraft guns of the ship and gained first-hand experience of military discipline, teamwork, chain of command and life within an operational crew. More recently, I was received by General Patrice Sauvé, upon the recommendation of Colonel Sébastien Olié, Branch Head for Military Partnerships at NATO in Naples, to discuss my possible integration into the ADER reserve of the French Air and Space Force, with the honorary rank of Colonel. Professionally, I have extensive experience in leadership, team management, communication and decision-making. I have founded and managed several companies, led multidisciplinary teams and managed major projects and budgets. I am also a television producer, journalist and director, with more than 2,000 hours of television programmes, over 70 documentaries and approximately 30 fiction productions. I founded and managed a television channel employing around 40 people and have also directed postgraduate programmes in media production and management. I speak fluent English and regularly work in international environments. I also have civilian aviation experience: PPL(A), 170+ hours PIC, with Night Flying and Seaplane qualifications, and PPL(H), approximately 60 hours PIC exclusively on single-engine turbine helicopters, including AS350 Ecureuil, Bell 206 and Alouette II. My first choice is Army Aviation as a transport or utility helicopter pilot, subject to assessment and conversion training. My second choice is heavy UAV pilot or operator. I would particularly appreciate having my profile reviewed by an aviation specialist before travelling to Ukraine.
