Army Reserves of the UK, 2022 - Present. I completed basic training, including rifle handling, battlefield casualty drills, etc. I completed a 2-week combat medical technician course, before switching to the Infantry, where I have done one day of urban warfare training, some fire team patrolling and responding to fire training, and passed many physical assessments with flying colours. I passed selection to do officer training at RMAS in the Regular Army in January, but unfortunately a medical test has indicated my hearing is not quite to the required standard and I have been maid permanently medically unfit. I must stress, my everyday hearing is fine.
