I did my duty service back in 1999 in the German army in the 3. Signal Batallion 230 which was part of the 2. Korps US/GE command. My job as a full trained digital signal soldier was to operate a mobile Autoko90 radio link system. I had live fire trainings with the following weapons: G3, MG3 and Panzerfaus 3. And i had participated in multiple combined arms execises at a couple of military training areas (Wildflecken, Stetten am kalten Markt) in south Germany. So basically i know how things are done in the military, but i was never in a real war scenario.
