The International Legions for the Defence of Ukraine have shared footage of Russian occupiers being destroyed in combat — and they invite those ready to stand for freedom to join their ranks.

The International Legions operate as dedicated special-purpose battalions, directly subordinate to the Command of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Volunteers from more than 75 countries are already defending Ukraine’s independence and safeguarding the security of the free world.

Within the Legions, foreign volunteers serve as full-fledged members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, enjoying the same rights, responsibilities, and comprehensive support as all Ukrainian servicemen.

Alongside international fighters, many Ukrainians also choose to serve in the Legions. For Ukrainian candidates, knowledge of foreign languages is an asset during selection, but it is not a strict requirement.
