I served as a volunteer in the Lebanese Army with the First Intervention Regiment, based at the Beirut Military Air Base at Beirut International Airport. I successfully completed four months of intensive military training and went on to serve for approximately four and a half years, close to five years in total. During my service, I gained extensive operational experience and participated in 27 major urban combat operations.
