I joined the Turkish Armed Forces in 2018 as a non-commissioned specialist sergeant (NATO rank code OR-4), with a specialization as a mountain commando; I left the service in 2021. My professional background is in software development. I was present in the Idlib region of Syria in 2020 during the Russian airstrike against Turkish troops—an event in which many of my friends were killed or wounded. I wish to join the Ukrainian Armed Forces to seek vengeance for them. As I do not possess a passport, I have provided a photograph of my national ID card. My English is limited, so I communicate using Google Translate. I do not fear war.
