I have served in the Cyprus Defence Forces and the Greek Cypriot National Guard since June 1998. From June 1998 to October 2000, I trained and served full-time as a Military Police Officer under Special Forces, and have continued to serve part-time in the reserve force to this day, further developing my leadership, operational planning, and crisis management skills. My full-time service included elite training at the Stavrovouni Mountain Special Forces School in Cyprus and the SEAP Military Officer Academy in Crete, Greece. I was assigned to multiple units, including the Military Police Special Operations Unit and served on the Cyprus 611 Battalion located on the Green Line, the buffer zone separating Cypriot and Turkish troops. Upon completion of my full-time service, I was honourably discharged with the rank of Second Lieutenant. I was among the top six officers nationally in the Military Police under Special Forces, and during my service, I commanded a platoon responsible for over £7 million in military equipment, supervised the training and welfare of 148 soldiers, organised military exercises, and led firefighting and emergency response missions. In my broader career, I have consistently operated in high-pressure, high-performance environments where resilience, discipline, and precision are critical—traits forged in my military experience. I’ve been a professional athlete in the United States, and I continue to be an active parachuter, holding skydiving certification in the UK, as well as a certified scuba diver through PADI through my research on Great White Sharks in South Africa. I’ve also founded and led multiple businesses, and currently serve as a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), leading advanced technology solutions and software development. Holding a PhD in Medical Bioengineering, I work at the intersection of science, innovation, and operational execution, applying deep technical knowledge and strategic leadership in complex, high-stakes environments. These capabilities — developed across both military and civilian domains — position me well for roles in military intelligence and defense technology implementation, where understanding advanced systems, making data-driven decisions under pressure, and leading multidisciplinary teams are mission-critical.
